Recruiting Family Physicians and Health Care professionals to Renfrew and Area is a community responsibility and our community actively supports these efforts.
In 2010, community leaders created Renfrew & Area Health Services Village Inc. to to attract 14 new physicians in 10 years; enough doctors to take care of current and future needs for a generation.
In fact, they felt so strongly about this initiative they provided annual funding to ensure success.
The Renfrew & Area Health Services Village Inc. Board of Directors includes physicians, business leaders, elected officials and hospital representatives.
