Renfrew & Area has an outstanding health village that includes Renfrew Victoria Hospital, Hospice Renfrew, Bonnechere Manor, Groves Park Lodge, Quail Creek Retirement Centre, Addiction Treatment Services, Ottawa Valley Physiotherapy, RVH Sleep Products, Gamma Dynacare and others.

We have 15 dedicated, local physicians who provide a wide range of services including family medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, palliative care, oncology, dialysis and obstetrics.

The Renfrew & Area Health Services Village is proud to offer a competitive incentive plan to selected Physicians interested in practicing in our communities. The response to our incentive plan has been very positive from candidates who are at various stages of their studies.

You are invited to consider establishing your practise in our area and the key elements of our incentive plan:

• An incentive payment of $150,000, $25,000 / year for six years, from date of signing
• A return of service arrangement of at least five years
• Patients from the four partnering municipalities will receive selection priority
• Physicians will live and practice in one of the four partnering municipalities
• Physicians must acquire and maintain privileges at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital

We spend a great deal of time listening to the needs of our candidates to ensure a good “fit“ with the needs of our community. "Fit" not only includes only a desire to live, work and contribute to our community but there also needs to be a good connection with our hospital and medical community.
